Voice of Iranians is dedicated to amplifying the voices of those fighting for democracy against brutal oppression by the Iranian regime. Our mission is to empower New Zealandrs to join the Woman, Life, Freedom revolution. We engage the community with this global pro-democracy movement through projects and events centred around the arts, education, advocacy and building solidarity.

Woman Life Freedom
On September 16th 2022, Iran\u2019s morality police murdered 22 year old Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini because a few strands of hair were showing from under her hijab. Her killing sparked a revolution to overthrow the Islamic Republic, an illegitimate, extremist theocracy occupying Iran since 1979. As protests engulfed the country, the rallying cry \u2018woman life freedom\u2019 became the resounding slogan that echoed across Iran and the world. \u2018Woman life freedom\u2019 represents everything the Iranians are fighting for and what the state has taken away from them. It encapsulates the idea that women\u2019s freedom is essential to the freedom of all society.
